What is it that sets Christianity apart from all other religions? Christianity is unique because Jesus Christ is unique!

Confuscius did not claim to be God. Buddha did not claim to be God. Muhammed did not claim to be God. On the other hand, Jesus did claim to be God.

Confuscius' tomb is occupied. Buddha's tomb is occupied. Muhammed's tomb is occupied. On the other hand, Jesus' tomb is empty! He is risen from the dead. He's alive!

On Easter Sunday, Christians all over the world were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. When Jesus cried out, "It is finished," He was not uttering a cry of defeat, He was uttering a cry of victory! Every man on this planet has sinned, and the wages of our sin is death - separation from God. Jesus died in our place as our substitute.

Jesus paid the penalty for my sins and for your sins. Consequently, His death was not a tragedy, it was a triumph. He paid the penalty for our sins, so we could have the gift of His righteousness. He died, so we could live.

All other religions say,"Do." Good works are required in order to obtain eternal life. Christianity says, "Done." Jesus paid the price to give us eternal life. The Bible puts it this way, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. If you have trusted in Jesus as your own personal savior, you have reason to rejoice! You have eternal life. If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ, you have a destiny-making decision to make. I encourage you to place your faith in Christ. Whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but has everlasting life!
